Reaching 1148 m, the summit of Hudournik offers the most beautiful views in all of Vojsko Plateau. If the weather allows, you can see from Kanin and Krn in the west, to Mount Triglav that rises straight ahead, past Porezen and Blegoš, all the way to Kamnik-Savinja Alps.

Trail description
Reaching the starting point: From Ljubljana, drive towards Idrija. In Idrija, turn left at the third traffic light into the centre of Idrija. From Tolmin, drive towards Idrija. In Idrija, drive straight ahead in the main crossroads toward the town centre. Continue driving in the direction of Vojsko. The road will ascend for 14 km and lead you to the centre of Vojsko, where you park on the parking lot of the church of St Joseph.
Trail description: From the church parking lot, continue towards the centre of Vojsko. On the first crossroads, take the gradually descending road to your right. Continue past the Alpski vrt suite. Follow the road with a few short ascents and descents across the Vojsko Plateau in the direction of the Slovenija Partisan Printing Shop. When the road turn sharply right to the printing shop, keep going in the direction of Hudournik and the partican cemetery which you will reach, and continue on the road that you follow past the last houses to the spot where markings for Hudournik will direct you slightly to your right and onto a gradually ascending gravel road. You will go through a forest and, once you reach a meadow, the path will turn into a road. Keep on it for a few minutes to reach the spacious Hudournik with its amazing views.
